An American Army doughboy hurls a hand grenade as German soldiers with glistening bayonets look up from the protection of their trench. Smoke billows from something burning in the distance in a hellish war scene adding emphasis to the poster’s message to “Lend As They Fight – Buy War Bonds To Your UTMOST!”. The lower margin indicates “The W.F. Powers Co. Litho, N.Y.”. Measures 40.75" x 26.75"
